User Interface Design
What is User Interface Design?
User interface design or in short ‘UI Design’ can be applied to any software design, platform viewport and websites. The fundamental approach in this topic is always to think the interactivity, information display and user friendliness of the viewport. The actual technical and graphical components in UI Design is another topic that is independent from this topic.
How to approach challenges
Typically more information you have available for the desired features in the user interface view the more clearer certain requirements. These can be things such as defining a resolution for buttons, is there room for text and/or frames. Another valuable provider for early feedback with the challenges is to have a testing devices for the final appearance and see immediately the issues trough it.
Wireframe Modeling
Easiest way to begin the user interface layout creation is trough rough wireframes where you can easily sketch out the main fields where each element should be placed. Also you can easily detect first issues that appears in the design and how to create possible changes for them. This wireframe modeling can be done with any software that allows to draw various shapes, however there are some specialized softwares that can add more dynamic way to this type of modeling.
Analyzing Feedback
Once the first versions of the UI Design has been sent out for active use it is good to gather some sort of feedback of it’s users. After giving some thought for the feedback solutions might appear how to make changes and give some lift up for the UI Design.
